Veterinary receptionists are the unsung heroes of vet med. They are the first introduction and face of the practice. They can focus and multitask, all while keeping a smile on their face. They help our clients in routine and not so routine appointments. They provide kindness in difficult times and create a calm atmosphere for both clients and patients.

Duties

Greet clients and their pets warmly and assist them with check-in procedures

Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar

Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients

Process payments and handle billing tasks

Maintain accurate records of patient information in the system

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management

Requirements

Knowledge of animal anatomy and animal care practices

Experience in veterinary critical care or medical collection is a plus

Familiarity with animal husbandry and handling techniques

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Big plus if you have Pulse experience.

Experienced Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant

Job Overview

For this role we are looking for an Experienced Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant that is currently enrolled in school. Must be comfortable working in a fast moving team.

The ideal candidate has a compassionate, caring, manner. Must be a self started with a high aptitude for personal accountability. Attitude is key. Dependable and consistent is a must. Would consider applicants for part time or full time positions.

Salary can be negotiated based on license and experience level.

Duties

Assist veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries

Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis

Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians

Conduct X-rays and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures

Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments, we are in the process of getting fear free certified.

Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Provide post-operative care and monitoring

Assist with keeping the hospital clean and organized.

Qualifications

Certification as a Veterinary Technician/ or must be currently enrolled in LVT school

Proficiency in laboratory procedures and equipment operation

Knowledge of veterinary critical care practices

Familiarity with animal catheterization techniques.
